Best: July to October, when the Masai Mara offers excellent wildlife viewing and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration may be seen.
Good: January to February, June and December, with rewarding game viewing and generally favourable safari conditions.
Seasonal: March to May and November, when rains may affect some safari conditions, but the landscapes are often greener and quieter.
The migration is a natural event and timings can vary from year to year. River crossings are never guaranteed, but July to October is generally the most sought-after period for the Masai Mara.
